I Need to Get Into Shape

I have been trying to find a new way to work out in the morning before work and I think I finally found it. I decided to purchase a decent bike so I could go for a ride every morning. Nothing too crazy just 4-5 miles to keep my self in shape.

So the search began. Now I have no clue what to look for in a bike so I did a little research and asked my TBTL friend Nick for some help. Then I found a few bikes on Craigslist.I didn't want to spend more that $100. I emailed a few but had no luck. Then I found one that I liked a Raleigh M20, now I know that doesn't mean much to anyone but it is a decent bike. I offered the guy $75 and he accepted. 

I picked it up on Sat. and went for a few short rides that afternoon. I realized just how out of shape I am in. My plan is to get up every morning and go for a 30 minute ride. The area around my house is really hilly so it doesn't make for the most pleasant ride, but it is a pretty good work out. 

Hopefully I don't fail at this but I think it would be really good for me.

We will see how it goes...

don't forget to wear a helmet and reflective lighting for those cold early morning bike rides. :)
